Groin Pain While Walking

WOW. You really got some intelligent answers here. But I think you need to clear up the UTI problem before you can ever be sure. The groin pain could be caused by the UTI. HOWEVER, my only encounter with groin pain was due to fractured pelvis from an accident.

So do you run a lot? Do you exercise? If not, then start. If you do, fracture or overuse could be the cause.

It could be an infection on one of the organs you have on your right side, very near to the groin, such as the appendix.
High blood cell count could mean infection so you want to have that taken care of ASAP.
The pain in the right side could also be a bad posture. You're probably walking or standing in a certain way that is making your body ache.
Go to a different doctor and see what they say. Good luck!

White blood cell count would be tied to the frequent UTIs

It's possible that it is a function of weak hip ab(ad)ductors, you might want to see a sports physician or chiropractor to rule out any musculoskeletal problems. If this is not the case you might consider comprehensive blood work, and urine samples to rule out infections, diseases and what not..

And the UTIs might not be tied to your problem at all.

Get a second opinion!!!! sounds like a pulled muscle or worse, a femoral hernia! That is a hernia in the upper thigh groin area, had one and it almost killed me. Did not know it was there and became gangrenous and exploded, doctors thought it was my appendix. ask them to check out a FEMORAL HERNIA!!!!
