Hello Tycoon,

I have done some research in this field, e.g. regarding the validity and reliabilty of the practioners in this field. Like your question, I wondered myself as well ... what is the proof for the anecdotal stories of palmists, palm-readers and handanlysts???

And therefore I decided to put my question into some interesting research experiments - in the perspective of the field of my profession: academic psychology!

You can read about the results at:

I hope this report helps you to find your own answers.

Best whishes from The Netherlands!

Martijn.

PS. Some of these experiments were joined by professional handanalysts from all over the world.

Palmistry cannot accurately predict the future, because the lines on the hands do change somewhat as we grow and develop.

Palmistry can show how the past affects our present, but even lines relating to past events can get deeper or fade out as we change our views of those events.

Palmistry can show us a probable future, but not THE future.

You have got to be kidding, right? Its 2006, not 1506. Palmistry might get a few guesses right, but definitely don't make any major life decisions based on a palm reading!!!

There is no "truth" in palmistry beyond what people invest into it.

it only shows how unique we all are, but how we also share common things or major marks and lines on hand

I don't think it can possibly tell your whole life, you are the one who chooses to live or die and can prove wrong with one fatal error

yes. i've done readings on my friends & they've proven correct. if i could see ur palm, i'd tell u about what's going on & about what could happen in ur life. that's the only way i could prove that it works.
