yeah don't blame you bro
for having such feelings towards islam, it's typical
but bear in mind are we for religion due to their ways or practises?
are we really interested in the political sides of it?
u know what
once we are just a bunch of kids that could play happily together but when we grew up we start to call each other names coz we thought we're a little brainy
but when we get old and dying....what have we done and going to do?
So, What are we really truly in for a religion?
think about it man

I couldn't agree with you more. I worked with a Muslim for a time and while he never gave me reason to distrust him, I could not relax in his presence. I even bought a Koran from him to investigate their religion and have read passages that cause me concern when they talk about killing all infidels who do not agree with them (that's paraphrased and not a direct quote). He was a little shifty because he would never look you in the eye when talking to you. Maybe that was what really bothered me about him. I don't know if it's their custom not to look 'infidels' in the eye but it was unnerving to say the least.
Besides, given all the mayhem being caused by Muslim extremists- why aren't the moderate Muslims stepping up and condemning the violent behavior. I see lots of reports of riots and the like i.e. the Pope's latest comments and the Danish cartoon last year- so where are the peaceful Muslims and why aren't they leading a better example by condemning the violence and innocent deaths?
Have a great day!!!

The worlds a crazy place. Your intentions are good but maybe some of the cliches we were given as kids just dont stand-up.
What I mean is, we were raised to believe "most people are basically good". The reality is, most people can be anything. A clever leader can make an entire community drink poison kool-aid, or an angry warlord can make an entire religion of hatred.
Humanity means something very different to people raised under the warlords religion. Its very hard to accept...I know. I too prefer my old Disney shaded glasses. Also, Muslims gimmicky mannerisms break the simple sterotype...

You think Christians are the only ones being persecuted? What about the Jews? What about the Islamics who are non violent? we can't lump it all in one sack. Remember Ireland? The Catholics did not trust the Protestants and vice versa. If we do follow the teaching of Jesus we must love all people.

I agree with you 100%. It's hard to trust Islam when you see almost daily bloodshed of innocents.
On TV yesterday, I saw the Iranian Presidents speech, where he denied the Holocaust ever happened. How can any straight thinking person expect anyone to believe that.
My dad fought in WWII and was one of those who liberated some of the death camps. He said people were stacked like cord wood and in trenches where they'd been shot. He said the camps smelled of rotting corpses. He had nightmares about it for the rest of his life.
I believe the reason they call the Holocaust a myth is because Muslims fought with Hitler.

Why don't you trust Islam? just because less than 1% of Muslims ruined the image of Islam for one billion people? try to visit a Muslim country and see people how they really are, not how you see them on t.v or you hear from people and media.
Muslims are trustworthy, clean and respectable, keep that in your mind, and I hope you would really know the good Muslims.

My answer is only very short. Read these people first hand account on Islam. They were enticed too, like some of those who confess to the islamic faith. But please read, for they have the knowledge not me. they are living witnesses.

It is misplaced because you put your trust in the western news media and it thrives on sensationalism.
You have a computer. Look up other newspapers around the world, and read some of them.

You are very correct in distrusting the False faith of Islam:
Muslims (and Islam) say Jesus was a prophet but they reject all His teachings ...
They reject Christ's divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross...
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ .
Scripture says:
"Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti-Christ, that denies the Father and the Son. He that denies the Son, the same has not the Father." (I John 2:22)

actually you should distrust Muslims,, not distrust Islam,,,
cause the real Islam is really clean and obvious,, u didn't read about Islam u just heard about what Muslims are doing,,,
unfortunately,, most of the medias belong to Jews and Americans,,, so obviously they wont say any good thing about people who are fighting against,,,,
so please,,, make your Judgement on Muslims after you listen to different media,,, and Judge on Islam after you read about it,,
