My daughter has got a thick muscus deep inside her nose and is causing diificulty in breathing. I have heard that nose syringe works well but i can't find here in any medical store. I even cannot put my finger or anyother thing inside her nose. Can anybody solve my problem?

Yes, Try vicks...I live on that stuff when i am sick.. also Try nose spay.. I have a 18 month old son and this is the only way to do it. If you want something qick, try water, I know it sounds funny but it will get it to go away. I promise. Also try some nasal pill or depending on age children's cold or infants cold will help. Another thing that will work, a hot bath or a heating pad on the chest, I do this when nothing else works. If it is a hot bath take something for her to blow her nose with, she will need it.

Have you ever heard of a Neti pot? You fill it with warm saline and pour it up one side of the nose while you keep the head turned and the mouth opened. It will run out the other nostril. It has been effective in rinsing out the sinuses, if you can get your daughter to do it.

Saline spray by 'Little noses' will help loosen it up and you can usually find a nasal aspirator in the baby department of most retail stores and drug stores.

Saline drops will loosen it up. Call your hospital and see if they have a nose bulb you can have.

Try a rub called Olbus oil. I am not sure of the age of the child so please be careful to read the packaging directions to ensure it is safe for her to use.
