I am a neo-pagan and i don't have a particular path now. What is your path and how long have you've been practicing it?

Eclectic Witch with aspects of Wicca. You don't have to settle for just one path, they are flexible and can be merged. That is what is so great about Paganism, there are so many denominations to choose from.

I practiced Traditional Wicca for 18 years, I then did an eclectic thing which was very rewarding, I now practice Traditional Witchcraft.
I describe myself as a Pagan and Witch that follows a path that closely resembles Wicca.
I have been a student/practitioner for 26 years.

Mainly Celtic. Started out in, specifically, Egyptian when I was 14. I'm 36 now and I would basically consider myself Eclectic as I don't adhere to everything Celtic. I have been a Pagan since I was about 12.

I was raised with a metaphysical belief system called Macro Philosophy (a philosophy, not quite a religion) plus worshiping spirits and deities. In my twenties I heard about Wicca and incorporated some of their beliefs into my path but I kept looking for something that really felt right. In my late thirties (three years ago) I learned about Celtic Reconstructionism and that is the path that seems to fit. The foundation of my beliefs is still Macro Philosophy but CR gives me the ways to understand and worship, and develop a deeper relationship with my deities. Macro and CR are different but they mesh nicely since one is a philosophy and the other is a religion.

For most of my life I didn't have a name for my beliefs and practices. It didn't bother me. I simply did what I felt was right for me and kept searching for others with the same beliefs. I didn't need a label to learn and grow but I did keep my eyes open to see the path I needed when it came along.

I started down this path about 20 years ago, having gotten interested in sacred geometry and then Wicca. Over time, my basic beliefs/practices became what I call folk magick (or kitchen witchery) -- i.e. the methods of common people from all over the world. The beauty of this system is that it's meaningful, simple, and stresses LIVING your path moment to moment so that you're always in touch with Sacred energies.

Be forewarned you'll probably get some flack here from Christians (every thread about this topic seems to get "hit" with a few nay-sayers). Just trust your heart. There's no need to hurry in finding a specific Path, and you may even find you blend several to make something truly distinctive and empowering.

Read a lot. Research. Look at magick in various cultural settings and see what really sings the song of your spirit. Best wishes in your exploration.

I'm actually thinking about that right now. Athena has always been with me, since I was a little girl who picked up a mythology book, but my life's circumstances have changed drastically in the past two years, and what worked before doesn't work now. I've been combining Vodoun and European Witchcraft for the past few years.

I've been Pagan since 1997.

I'm a Celtic Reconstructionist too, and have been (formally) for about the past 7 years (informally for about 10.)

I second Trish's suggestion - read a lot. Even if nothing appeals to you, you'll at least be aware of what's out there, and that's never a bad thing.

I practice Odalism, but with heavy touches of Fae Wicca. I've been into Odalism for the last several months, a Fae Wiccan for about a year, and into general Wicca since I was 13. I am now 21.
