could be your kidneys.Ive had lots of kidney problems and it sounds like the pain I have. Is it sharp pains or more like a burning? If it doesn't go away soon, you should call your doctor to be sure. Kidney infections and kidney stones are nothing to mess around with. Is there any chance you could have pulled a muscle? Good luck. I hope you feel better soon.

Do you want them or are you trying to figure out what they are or are you trying to get rid of them?

Most commonly pains here would be related to the ribs or the tissue between or around them. In cases where that is true, the pains are often described as "sharp." They get worse when you take a deep breath, cough, sneeze or lay on that side. They are best treated with over-the-counter analgesic (Tylenol or Motrin) and last several weeks before going away.

If your symptoms are not what I described and especially if they are associated with shortness of breath, sweating, yellowish skin, fatigue, nausea or painful urination then you should see a doctor.

I agree with the above...sounds like a kidney infection. Drink lots of water! If this has been going on for some time, I wouldn't try any remedies, go to a doctor. You don't want it to get bad.

sounds like it could be a kidney stone or kidney infection.

mind you, not everyone is the same so your appendix may be on your left hand side, don't count that out.

also, you could have constipation or a bowl upstruction.

or even a hernia

1st, check for stab wound. If no stab wound, it could be kidney stones. Prob not though, because you would be in too much pain to type.
