Since my initial questions got knocked back a few pages and there were some questions about the concept, I figured that I give it another go.

Since there have been some questions about debates today, I wanted to know who would you put on debate teams to discuss their beleifs.

The teams would be:

Christians
Jewish
Islam
Agnostic
Atheist

Pick three members for each team (for a total of 9 participants), they have to be a semi-regular to regular poster in this section...

My definition is that if an atheist's statement is "I believe that there is no god", then they are an agnostic. An atheist's statement should be "I know there is no god"

There is no greater fool than a logician.

A logician is a person who thinks that everything in life can be solved with forensic debates like a lawyer.

If you had conducted a debate on the shape of the earth in the days before Columbus, the contenders saying "flat" would have won hands down.

The premise many people take when they form their opinions is that they know 100% of all things 100% of the time. Ocassionally, there might be an error. But there is a certain calibur of person that won't occur to. It's the same type who believes the city they live in is perfect because THEY live there. And that their kids can't possibly do wrong because it's THEIR kids. Anything they come up with is perfect, because THEY came up with it.
