Music CD-Rs are made for the stand alone writers that Philips, Sony, etc made to specifically copy CDs...there is nothing really special about them except compatability and price. You can burn music to a regular CD with no problems.

Not much. I am guessing a music CD-R is just a tiny bit more high quality. It is mostly a sales gimic. You can record music on a normal one!

A CD-rw disc is re-writable. you are able to re-write on it a minimum of 1000 situations. A CD-r is purely a one time recoding. as far as a CD-r music CD is going is is principally designed for music format despite if it extremely is a aac, wav or mp3 format the place a usual CD-r is designed for each thing yet supplies a miles less high quality recording whilst it includes music.
