Yep me too. My arms are broken out from it right now. Unfortunately Tide is one of the only HE (high efficiency)soaps available on the market for front load machines. may be time to sell my HE machine.

Tide is one of the harshest detergents on the market, including their "Free" version. The same goes for Cheer as well. My skin is sensitive to the chemicals in both Tide and Cheer and the rest of the family was having other problems with it.
We switched to Arm & Hammer Free a few years back. It does a good job and has a low price.

Next time you're in the supermarket, why don't you try looking at a Tide package and writing down its contents. You can compare it with Cheer and take note of the differences. That way, if you ever try a new or different brand than Cheer, you can be sure that you and your family will be able to use that brand without any worries.

they all use different perfumes. does it happen with Tide Free? it doesn't have the perfume in it.
strange that so many of you got rashes. are you all sensitive in general? did you try the tide from different bottles or just re-try the same bottle? if you used the same bottle, there could have been a problem with the batch. if you tried different bottles of Tide, then you all are allergic and should not use it again.

Yes! Tide is a strong detergent, and you must rinse your cloths twice before you put in any softener. I have had the same problem, as for the babies clothing wash there clothes with some kind of easy or dreft detergent and again always rinse babies cloths at least twice.

Tide is the worst detergent out there. It is mostly fillers and little detergent not to mention the perfume it contains smells awful and lingers on clothes forever. On top of that it is too expensive and doesn't get clothes clean. Switch to a cheaper, dye and perfume free detergent.

My family has the same problem. We are all sensitive to the perfume used in Tide.
Using a perfume / dye free detergent might be the best option for you.

Certain brands break me out. Your family may have allergies to certain dyes and fragrances used in the detergent. That's what I'm allergic to.
Make sure you use plain unscented detergent.
I cant use powered detergent i have to use liquid, but Tide is usually the only thing that dosent break me out.
Try rinsing the clothes twice before they go to the spin cycle.
Have you noticed it with anything else causing rashes like toilet paper.
I have to buy Charmin Ultra plain white (now using the kind with lotion) because if you have allergies to dyes and fragrance, if you use scented, colored toilet paper it will break you out to.

Too much bleach!
Most of the women in my family used Tide! I am 'allergic' to it and most of the products made by Procter & Gamble!
