As others have mentioned, this little trick will not work! You're going to have to face your demons, and make some choices. I feel your pain--I'm a chocaholic as well! However, I limit my intake to just little bits here and there in my diet (Moderation...moderation.... keep repeating this to yourself...).

Some products to try:

CocoaVia: The first heart-healthy, cholesterol-lowering low-cal chocolate bar. I can't rave about this chocolate enough--it's made by Dove and it tastes AWESOME--pure chocolately goodness. Plus, each bar is only 90-100 calories (depending on which you get). And your wife thinks chocolate isn't healthy? ;-) You can find CocoaVia at your local CVS--just don't go eating the whole pkg in one sitting!!

Light Chocolate Soymilk--with all that soy protein in there, this is one healthy drink!

South Beach Diet chocolate cereal bars--At only 140 calories and a lot of protein, this is a great way to start your day or add in as a snack. Yummmmy.

Santa Fe farms Chocolate Chocolate Chip cookies--these taste like fudge brownies, mmmmm...and they're only 20 calories each and fat free! You can find them online (I buy mine on ebay) or a natural foods store.

No Pudge--Possibly my favorite brand of food. They make all sorts of ice cream goodies which are lo-cal, with many chocolate flavors. They also have a VERY easy-to-make brownie mix (which is fudgy, moist heaven).

Good luck! You can do it--commit to yourself and you'll lose the weight and make yourself happy (which should be your top priority!)!

yes, she will notice. even if she was blind she would still notice. women have the ability to notice every little bitty detail. if still want to continue to eat so much chocolate, i suggest you pick up exercising. a proper diet is not the only method for losing wait. with the additional calorie usage from running, strength training, and proper diet, you can still eat chocolate and actually lose weight. that is unless you eat so much chocolate that you are substituting them for meals...

yea if she thinks you need to lose weight its best you try and work out and weight train, because chances are she is having "extra marital thoughts" if ya know what i mean. I think it is so wrong when people gain mass weight in a marriage. Its not fair to your partner if you get fat because as horrible as it sounds they just will not be attracted to you, they will still love you of course, but probably have thoughts of doing the "dirty" without you. Good luck man, dont you want women to be like "damn" when they see you? you dont ever lose weight and say, damnit i wish i would have ate that snicker bar rather then lose the 10 lbs.

Trust me on this: She will notice the bigger clothes when she does the laundry, if nothing else. And she will notice that you have not lost weight.

Now, I'm a bit of a chocoholic too. You're going to have to decide on a sensible ammount of chocolate, and stick with it.

There's no such thing as cutting coners if so why do it if you like i said if You Not doing to benefit you basically and your wife why do it. If you can't be truthful to a diet can you be trusted at all no offense to you but that's truth!! Good Luck.

If you wear bigger clothes they will eventually get tighter, do not fool yourself or your wife. Being overweight can cause serious health risks, be true to yourself and to your wife!
