Religious people can't stand it when people think differently than them. They will fight religous wars over it.

Have you considered looking at the Quakers? I'm not a Quaker myself but if you need an idea of what it's like to be non-judgemental and embrace the idea that all faiths, creeds and races deserve to have a voice, then you'd be hard pressed to find something better. They're also called the Society of Friends, and that's really what they are.. There's no formal worship and no dogma... If you're Muslim, Christian, Jewish or any other religion you can still be a Quaker. Man, Woman, Gay or Straight... All welcome.
If I was to feel the need to express my spirituality, they would be the first people I'd run to... Any help?

i think it is because each has their own religion. Each religion has taught a peace coming if they just believe and have everyone believe and it'll never happen unless everyone believes. There are many closed minded people in the world. Not only on religion but ethics, cultures, morals, and races.
How can someone believe in such garabage they think to themselves as they believe what they believe and look down their noses at the other person's belief.

Because every religion in the world will not allow for us to live in peace as long as they are present....Religion DIVIDES people - those that beleive X against those that beleive Y. This leads to disagreeements, which eventually lead to war.
Get rid of religion, end war.

Because there are too many morons in the world and a lot of the fighting is caused by religion from the start.

One of humanity's flaws is greed. Greed leads to conflict. Greed can take the form of monetary desires, but also moral desires (forcing one's religion upon another people).
Humans were not designed for peace. You will only find a peaceful world in the afterlife.

This answer is rather a deep one. It has to do with the ego and attitude. The ego always is searching for what it thinks is best for it in other words it is selfish. You could find the answer for yourself by reading Deuteronomy 6:4 It is written , Here o' Israel the Lord our God is one Lord. People are not satisfied with themselves so they pick on another to satisfy the ego's need to inflate itself. Peace is a nice idea but alas it is a pipe dream.

It's that exclusivity doctrine thing. The Abrahamic religions each insist that their way is the ONLY way, and that everyone else is either misguided or outright evil. Until they can get over themselves, and until the other religions can agree to settle their differences, there is going to be constant conflict.

Unfortunately, all of the major monotheistic religions in the world have "built-in" antagonism. They are instructed by their very holy books to convert others to their beliefs. And they are also instructed to defend themselves against others doing the same to them. (Often violently)
It is a recipe for war, and has been so since its inception.

Because only a few of us seem to have made our way to religions like Vodou and various forms of Paganism that don't feel threatened by the beliefs of others.

Because believing in a religion, almost by default, means you disbelieve in other religions!
I'm not saying you have to believe in a religion to contribute to discord and strife, but it sure helps!
