Yes. He broke the UCMJ. Period. No ifs ands or buts. It's not his call on whether it is an illegal or immoral war. LTG. Dubik will make the right call when it comes to his punishment.

Considering his pedigree (father was a 60's-70's anti-war activist) he went into the Army with an agenda to force. It's not like he didn't understand what would happen.
Now he must reap the consequences of his actions. He's lucky that we aren't in WW 2. He could get executed. But we're a kinder, gentler, nation now.
He deserves anything a court martial may direct; up to and including death.

YES! He refused a lawful order and now is trying to say that the order is not legal because the war is illegal. Congress approved the war. We are NOT under the law of other countries contrary to what he is saying!

Oh great. Another one. It amazes me of the people who voluntarily join the military, then want to get out when war breaks out. HELLO! That's your job! You can't have your cake and eat it too. You swore an oath of service to your nation. You also were given a chance to back out BEFORE going to Boot Camp. If you didn't take it, TOUGH LUCK!!!

Yes he should. The LT volunteered to go to war if called and is now choosing not to. There are consequences for choices and the LT should have to face them accordingly.

it seems pretty legal to me. He should get whatever they can throw at him. He encouraged dissention among the ranks, and set a terrible example for his subordinates and the rest of America.
