Most of the "clues" left in her various blogs and the website www.lonelygirl15.com point to she and her family being part of the Thelematic Order of Orientis. Although it was in existance before Aleister Crowley came along, after he joined, he quickly revolutionized the OTO and wrote several books that established most of its rituals. It can be considered to be an occultist group on its own, with characteristics of a Neo Pagan religion or way of life.
Many of Crowley's writings and ideas have been considered everything from brilliant to perverted, his group's motto, "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law", is not focused on evil or harming others, but rather on finding one's true self and ensuring everything one does is in accordance with that.
From my readings, the OTO is in no way associated with the Christian entity known as Satan.
Still, their rituals and beliefs are very different from the three major religions of Christianity, Judaism and Islam. There is a major emphasis on gnosticism, which is complicated to explain, but they are more focused on elevating their consciousness to being god-like themselves than in worshipping a God.
