my mate lived in nottinghasm for a few years and we made good mates but i got married and did my thing. i went to his house one day and found out he had moved back to leeds. how can i find him dont have a d.o.b. or any addresses for him.

There's a shop called 'Mistry's Superette' just off Victoria Road in Hyde Park, Leeds. That might be a good place to start, or is that a bit tenuous?
Is he any relation to the actor Jimmi Mistry?

If you know where he went to school/college, you could always try Friends Reunited. You don't have to pay just to go looking on the site (although you do have to register with them), only if you want to mail him through the site.
If he's done anything noteworthy (been in the news, published something like a scientific paper), you might also be able to find him with a Google search, but don't count on it.
Strangest thing though, I could swear I know the name, but I never lived in Nottigham or Leeds...
