A can of coke really has about 140 calories (the guy above is wrong- he may be thinking about a bottle of Coke) 12 fl oz. of natural juice can have a comparable number of calories, but if it's natural- the sugars (calories) it contains are natural, and less harmful to your body. Soda is sweetened w/ high frustose corn syrup - try Googling that- it is nasty stuff- very bad for you. Natural juice also has some vitamins, and is caffiene free. If by "juice" you mean some artificial stuff- liek Hawaiian Punch or something- then it is probably sweetened w/ HFCS and just as bad as soda. In any case, the calories between juice and soda, ounce per ounce, are similar. Check out calorieking.com to compare cals & nutrients in any foods or beverages.

Fruit juice has so much "Natural " sugar it really is not that good for your body. It wuold be better to eat the whole fruit. At least that way you get some fiber.

I'd say it'd be about the same. (Depends on how big the juice glass was).
