I asked this a couple weeks ago, I felt like reviving it again today.
Let's play a little game.
Think of someone that you know that has a different religious viewpoint than you.
Say something nice about them here.
If you don't know the person well enough to say something nice about them, then why do you know enough to say bad stuff about them?

I like Suzanne. We've had differences of opinion, but whenever I have a question about Christianity, she always gives me a great answer nevertheless. I respect that.

My first instinct would be Debra M. I cannot speak her praises high enough, she is humble, soft spoken, filled with love, and more than anyone else here, is the only one I've seen who lives the Christian life. However, I shouldn't pick her because while I am an atheist, I was raised Roman Catholic so that might bias me.
So I'm going to say fireball226. I've never thought much of her, in fact, I think pretty lowly of her -- BUT -- her simple, blunt, and direct manner is very refreshing in a world that increasingly plays to shades of grey, even if I disagree with her.
Now if only she could answer a question without just thumping her Bible...

Debra M. is a devout Catholic, and I am an Atheist. I would never even think of saying a mean word against her, and I get really irritated by the people who do.
Poki Poki is a Muslim, and we have gone round and round in the past. I've developed a deep respect for Poki Poki over the past few months, and I would do whatever I could for him.
Jim Darwin is an Agnostic who continually opens my eyes and intrigues me with his posts. I enjoy reading what he has to say.
I don't really know any of the Jews, Buddhists, Wiccans, etc, so I can't really answer on them. Ask this again in a few weeks. It's a great question.

Ive got to play devils advocate with you...sorry.
I cant say anything nice about Fireball....I do not know her, but I read her responses. And that gives me more than enough ammunition to "say bad stuff" about her. Just look at her profile...she is remarried, which is a sin in Christianity! Yet, she purports to be oh so pious...then judges people, and leaves responses that sound like an 8 year old child wrote them. I cannot beleive she is a level 6, has over 12K points, and hardly any best answers....

Great exercise.
I think that DebraM is thoroughly wrong, but that she is respectful and has enough faith that she doesn't feel the need to attack people who disagree with her. I once posted a snide comment directed at one of her questions, but it was wrong of me to do so, and I apologized (and offer another apology here).
There are other Christians here who are good role models for their faith, though I can't recall any particular names at the moment. I think they're wrong, but they're decent and adult.

The CPT has a great sense of humor and always knows how to start the dialog rolling. Also Saddam Hussein has a gnarly beard!

My friend, N, is uber-Catholic. She's just about the nicest person I've ever met.
My Uncle is Agnostic and I admire that he's a great family guy.

Even though she doesn't post here much anymore. I liked Debra M, she would often post inspirational quotes and poems. She is a catholic and proud of that. I respect her for that.

Although we don't agree on a lot of things, impossble_dream seems to always give thoughtful answers and doesn't condemn people who don't believe as he does.
