What are just the most insanely over-the-top menu Items you've ever seen, tasted? Was it good or terrible? Is it still around?

McDonalds' McLobster sandwich comes to mind. It's not that it was bad, it's just that lobster and McD's just don't go together!
So wrong - but still kinda good. Only had them a few weeks a year, (during lobster season obviously) but my whole family would go with my grandparents most years for McLobsters!

I know that Krispy Kreme has debuted the "Kripsy Kreme Fried Chicken Sandwich" at fairs this past year. I didn't try that, but I don't think it sounds very appetizing.

I have no idea what chain did this but I saw on a news show that someone is making a hamburger:

1/2lb of beef between 2 krispy cream donuts!!!! ARRGGGGGGGG!!!

Carl's Jr - with the pastrami burger. Just watching the commercial makes you gain weight.

I remember when McDonalds sold little mini pizzas. I never had one though. I had fried pickles at Captain D's once. Not very good. I love pickles, but not fried in batter.
