Ingredients needed:
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
3/4 cup Mayonnaise
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon finely chopped celery leaves
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon finely chopped green onions
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 teaspoon Emeril's Original Essence
3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Mash together the garlic and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a medium bowl. Add the mayonnaise and buttermilk and whisk to blend. Add the celery leaves, green onions, parsley, lemon juice, Essence, black pepper, and remaining 1 teaspoon salt. Stir to blend.
Makes about 1 1/4 cups

Creamy Ranch Salad Dressing
Yield: 9 Servings
Ingredients
1 c low-fat cottage cheese
2/3 c low-fat plain yogurt
2 green onions, chopped
1 ts dijon mustard
1/2 ts garlic powder
1/2 ts dried basil
1/4 ts dried oregano
Instructions
In food processor or blender, process cottage cheese andyogurt until
smooth. Pour into bowl and stir in onions and seasonings.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 min so flavours develop. Store
for up to one week. Stir before serving.
Ranch Dressing Mix Plus
Yield: 1 Serving
Ingredients
1 c dried parsley flakes
1/2 c finely crushed
-saltines(about 15 cr
1/2 c dried minced onion
1/2 c garlic salt
1/2 c onion salt
1/4 c garlic powder
1/4 c onion powder
2 tb dill weed
1 additional ingredients
2 c mayonnaise
2 c buttermilk
1 for thousand island dressing
1/4 c chili sauce
2 tb sweet pickle relish
1 for cucumber dressing
1 md cucumber, peeled, seeded;
-pureed
1 ts celery seed
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine first 8 ingredients; mix well. Store in
airtight
container in a cool dry place. YIELD: 3 cups mix (enough to make 24 batches
of
ranch salad dressing). For Ranch Salad Dressing: In a bowl, whisk together
2
tablespoons of mix with mayonnaise and buttermilk. Refrigerate until
serving.
Yield 4 cups.
For Thousand Island Dressing: Add chili sauce and pickle relish to 1 cup
prepared ranch dressing.
For Cucumber Dressing: Add cucumber and celery seed to 1 cup of prepared
ranch
salad dressing.

This is sort of homemade...just easier and equally delicious.
I use the little packets of Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch. You simply mix in a large bowl 1 cup of (Hellman's REAL Mayonnaise) , one cup of buttermilk & the contents of the packet. Stir well, put in a container with a lid and refrigerate. It is awesome stuff.

At my restaurant, I'd make it with a giant packet of hidden valley powder, 2 quarts of buttermilk, and 1/2 gallon of miracle whip. I made this *constantly* it was so popular.
Um, so those are the ingredients. Get a little packet of hidden valley ranch powder and follow the directions.
