Eurpoean colonists and later Americans killed Native Americans.
World War 1 was started by the assasination of Archduke Ferdinand. The Germans, in an attempt to recover from that war, later supported Hitler. The US didn't get involved in WWII Europe until many had been killed. We were drawn into WWII when Japan bombed Pearl Harbor.
We probably provided Saddam with WMD when we were using him to fight against the Ayatollah Khomeni.
We also provided Israel with weaponry for self defense when the UN, with the best of intentions and zero forethought, gave away land that wasn't theirs to give away.
The Taliban, a brutal Islamic extremist regime, supported Osama bin Laden and al Queda and harbored him after Saudi Arabia kicked him out.
The US is currently occupying Iraq. I don't know if we are stealing their oil, and it was extremely stupid for us to go there, but leaving now would create a power vacuum and cost even more Iraqi civilian lives in civil war.
As for terrorizing the middle east, that appears to have been left to extremeists. al Queda in Iraq has caused more Iraqi civilian deaths that can be counted. Al Axa Martyrs, al Queda, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, etc. kill far more civilians in the mid east than the US.
Creating terrorism? Extremist religious fanatics.

Too many people involved here to give an answer.
World War I and II were started in Europe. So, cannot blame the USA for that.
The last three-I would say Bush. I have heard it said that for every Terrorist he kills, three more pop up. Thank goodness-only two more years of the crazy man. And, that is too long---what more damage can he do?
Ah! Your question has too many ifs, ands, and whatfors, to answer.
One note I do want to make: The USA supported the Mujaheddin in Afghanistan to help them kick out the Russians. That was good. They, in turn, turned against their own people and country with their religion fanaticism.

Pretty much all countries and all religions have committed horrible acts against humanity, yes there are some exceptions and yes some countries/religions seem to do more than others, but humans are flawed. Are you making this a better place by pointing fingers.
