A confident girl shows capability. This quality extends into all things, and guys really, really love that. Women who walk with a confident gait, launch into their projects with passion, and tell guys they don't like to get lost make a man extremely proud to be with her. He's made a real accomplishment getting her attention and affection, which he values more than just overcoming the weak protestations of a sad-sack silly sister since he knows that anybody can have their way with weak women.

Cause shy girls are too high maintenance - the guy is always trying to figure out if she's happy, what she wants, etc. A confident woman tells him and so his life is easier. Also, a confident woman is also confident about her sexuality and so is much better in bed.

When guys are young they just want to do crazy things. They meet couple of girls every night and after they forget about them. Those confident, easy-going girls are treated as "easy" after all... But after the period of being young, most of the guys would like to have a good, great, calm wife, not so easy to get. And a virgin, of course;) But where to find one ?;)

Confidence is always an attractive factor,to speak directly and reach all you want.
Shyness is cute but useless, because you loose many opportunities.
It's not the same confidence & arrogance.
