i am not relegious but belive in angels and souls and all that. your question reminded me of something that happend to me. i was going home sick from college one day, flu really bad migraine etc. when i was on the bus this old lady sat down beside me. we talked about everything and anything (as i love talking to peopple) it was in no time at all that she had to get off the bus.we said our goobyes and when she was leaving she turned and said 'now u will feel all better' and smiled at me. then i realised i actually did feel better. i will never forget that smile as i felt a warm caring glow from it. so yes i belive that angels can turn into people. that is their way of looking after us.so that is y i belive in smiling at strangers and having a kind word for peole in trouble because u never know they could be your guardian angel

No. Angels are spirits but they are entirely different kind of thing than a human soul. They are a different species, so to speak. An angel cannot become a human and a human cannot become an angel anymore than a human could become a cat or vice versa.

Angels can take the form of humans temporarily or more accurately momentarily. "Many of us have entertained angels unaware" for example in rescue situations angels can pop in to help someone in the form of a human because in their spiritual form they can move things or physically move something for when rescuing individuals. Raising up a car with super strength, pushing someone out of the way of an on coming car, pulling someone to safety, etc. Spiritual bodies can't do these things, but, I believe god momentarily allows them to take human form to help people in desperate situations. For example, when you hear, "Where did he go, he was here a second ago?" or "It seems like he just disappeared." or someone arrives almost magically in a snow storm where neither man nor beast could get thru for a rescue, but suddenly someone appears on the scene who is able to rescue you. It is not magic. It is real. God cares enough to send someone to help at that moment in time and space.****I just read some of the responses and I want to clarify a couple things. Humans will never be angels, not when they die, not ever. Angels can take human form, but they are not really human beings. They are simply using a shell to operate with in the physical world. They are not temporarily borrowing some "once living" human's body or being some kind of ghost.

I remembered a movie about Angels..and how they all like to gather in the libirary..

An angel gave a quote about if God gave humans free will, He will no doubt also grant angels free will too. And apparently angels should be able to choose if they want to be human and experience it all over again.. No fun being all immortal and only being able to talk to soul

(Bleh, I'm an atheist but i still liked that movie..was more of a romance movie to me)

NO. God has many angels, and not like we are used to knowing them. Angels are God's worshipers and have been with him since the beginning of time. They are his faithful servants in spiritual form. Angels are used as messengers of God and for direction to humans, as well as to complete a plan of God.
The bible doesn't ever say that we will be angels when physically dead. The book of Revelations talks about Angels the most and the descriptions of what they look like are nothing human. We will NEVER be like angels. They are so holy that we could never amount to them.

No. Angels are angels. Humans are humans. Booth have souls but they were created by God for different reasons and you can't become on of the other. But they can take the form of a human... just like satan and his angels can take different forms(snake in the garden of eden)

No less an expert than Billy Graham, in his book Angels: Gods Secret Agents, noted that `UFOs are astonishingly angel like in some of their reported appearances.`

If, as American fundamentalists think, that UFOs are the agents of Lucifer the fallen angel, then why not surmise that a human manifestation of a white clad creature, but an agent of God, could exist too?

This may all seem like so much harmless nonsense, but it makes for sound economics.

Angels cost the taxpayer nothing and are always on call, so the State need not spend billions on social security, health care and unemployment benefit: God will provide!

I don't think that angels can become human. Well, maybe if God wants them to. I think they won't since they are different creatures and they won't become something if God doesn't want them to. And it was like this, when Hazrat Adam was born, I mean when God decided and consulted with angels they said that why did He want to create creatures which will be nothing but trouble? That tells it and I'm not a chirstian, I'm a muslim. Muslims allowed, right?

No, angels are define beings, as they call it in the bible, they are not souls traveling around. Our souls or spirits go to heaven. Angels was created before us.
