my b/f is jewish and i met him in a chat room. we arranged a date and met in singapore. now we are madly in love and who says internet dating is dangerous and wrong?
(then again because it worked for me it cant be the same for every woman right?)

Right! I'm happy for you that you met the love of your life onlne, but for every person who has, there are hundreds who have been duped. Then again, people meet people in bars - some of the relationships work, and some don't. I think the important thing about meeting what I like to call "imaginary friends" is to meet in a public place like a mall, take a friend or relative with you and have your friend wear something that will identify him. That way you can observe the person from a far before meeting them. This is true not just with a person you have fallen in love with on the computer, but anyone.

Congratulations, and I hope you have a very long, happy relationship together!

It's just another way for people to meet. It's after meeting and getting to know each other that's important, not the means of the aquaintance.
