Each case needs to be looked at one at a time. However in most cases I would think the woman should have the child no matter what. She wanted the sex so she has to pay the price. Same for the man. And to add to the current laws the man has no choice in the matter. If he wants the abortion he is a murder but he wants the child and the woman don't it is kewl and all peachy because it is her body and she can kill a baby if she wants to.
So why is it murder if a man wants a woman to abort but not murder if the woman wants it..???
Then if she wants it he is forced to pay childsupport.
What happened to the rights of the MAN.. ?????????

I have never had an abortion (Had a tubal pregnancy once) And no I don't think I could have an abortion. How ever I don't want the government telling me or anyone else what we can do. For example if they can tell you you have to keep the baby and you find out you have a terminal illness that does not affect the baby (lets say cervical cancer) But you won't live to see past the babies 5 th birthday no family no father of the baby then what? True story by the way. (she kept the baby and lost her life) No one told her she had to keep she did. Or there's a chance someone will come out of a coma but in 3 years if the government can tell you not to terminate a pregnancy then they can tell you,you have to terminate life support for the person on life support because of lack of rooms or the amount of money it's costing them. Another true story only the family lost now they will never know if that child would of recovered.

I will not tell you about any history of abortions, but I will tell you that I think pro-lifers are a much sicker group. When I was 12 years old, I was on my way from the park back to my grandmother's house with my 13-year-old relative and we were stopped by a group of pro-lifers and they forced pamphlets with pictures of aborted fetuses on two CHILDREN. What kind of sickos would do that? You're all going to hell.

If you're going to phrase your questions in an inflamatory manner, you should expect inflamatory responses.
Go back and re-read what you just posted. Clearly you're pro-choice. Clearly you feel that people who disagree with you are murderers -- you haven't offered any other choices.
Given that you have so little respect for people who share a different opinion than you do, do you really expect them to treat you with respect after you just insulted them?
Grow up.

Ok, despite the insenstivities of your question I will answer it. Up until I was 17 I always felt that abortion was wrong. I could not undersatnd how a woman could kill her own child. However, I was in for a wake up call. I got pregnant, before you tell me I was irresponsible I can assure we had used precautions but they are not failsafe. Anyway my hormones were telling me I should keep this child, however the father to be refused to acknowledge his responsibility and told me that if I did not get rid of it he would not stay with me. As we had been together for several years and I do not speak to my family I felt I had no choice. In addition to this I knew in my head that I was nothing more than a child myself, if I was to have had that child I would have been incapable of bringing it up in a good and moral manner. they would have ended up as one of these kids you see hanging about streets drinking. When I do have children I want to bring them up in a good home with a good moral conduct. I would also like for them to have faith in God, however if they choose not to then so be it. However I imagine you probably see me as a heathen and should not be able to do this. However, God has plans for us all if truly had wanted me to have that child then I would have. However I have grown up a lot wiser since then and I for one do not want my child to become a statistic in drug abuse, homelessness or alchol misuse or jailed as he was not given a decent upbringing!

I'm pro-choice.
Because you most have the right to make your decisions for your own, but always making my decisions with out hurt anyone else or second parties.
I'm a male and I'm against abortion. Read my 2ND answer. No harmful to 2ND parties, a lot less to my own blood.
I never, ever would let my wife or girl friend to have one, Why? To cover our sorry butts? To cover the stupidity of not buying a condom? To cover how immature we were? No way.

How many times do we have to participate in this fruitless debate? I beleive morality will NEVER be legislated successfully. Is it moral to force a woman to carry a baby to term? Is it moral for her to terminate a life? Until you stand in her shoes, pay her consequences you have no right to an opinion either way. Noone ever changes their minds from what they believe to be true for themselves. The arrogance of this debate is truely unbelievable.

OK...last time....I stand behind my choice.
Pro-choice or pro-murder.....it's a private decision and none of your or anybodys business.
It's also none of your business if I've ever had one or would ever have one.
If this is negative response....then stop asking this question.
