Talk to him about why he is going to the porn sites. If you don't want him to look at porn on the Internet then you can block the site from the computers in your house. It is very normal for a teenage boy to want to look at porn. He is probably curious.

Talk to him about what is the purpose of his visits to those sites and explain to him that if he has questions he can talk to you.
You as a parent should get a good computer virus and blocker to avoid the repetition of the situation. I have a 13 year old and have been avoiding the situation, but he is open and talk to us all the time. We have cyber nanny and other like Norton Internet and Parental control it works like a charm. Good luck! Remember that it is an age of curiosity and they need someone to trust.

Bring your child into the light, which could easily be achieved by talking sense into him. Ask him what is making him go wrong, and make it clear, the fact that pornography is wrong all together. Make him understand that you love him, and that you care about him. Perhaps you could allow the chap to have a girl friend, so that he should not be lonely, if that is the reason he states. Also discussing the issue of religion might perhaps help ease the situation. May you prosper.

What is there to handle? He's a young man, regardless of how you want to look at him, and he is curious about sex. You could actually talk to him about sex, but if you aren't doing that yet then you are about 5 years too late. As long as he isn't looking at some strange fetish sites then it's perfectly normal. If he's looking at weird japanese fecal porn then start to worry.

The same way you would if you found Penthouse magazine in his room, you tell him that is not allowed in your house. Tell him that he is not allowed to use the internet for looking at porn and if he does it again you will allow him only supervised internet time. Realize it is normal for him to be doing this at his age, but normal doesn't mean you have to let it go on. He needs to learn about sexual boundaries and this is as good as any place to start.

Talk to him about it? Cooly, responsibly and not looking down at him when you do. Tell him how you feel about it, learn what he feels about it, just make sure that you both have an understanding even though no soultion may be immediately reached.

Ensuring that your son has a healthy understanding of sexuality of himself and in general is the best you can do for him. Interested in sexuality is natural for him at that stage. Simply trying to block it out would be irresponsible.

I have a 16 year old son. I took several steps -- first, I spoke with him about it openly. (Once they know that you know, things change.) Second, I became far more vigilant about his computer time and use.

I started to regularly track and check use history and what cookies were being stored. I had already told him that if it didn't stop, I'd install that software that helps you monitor use and restrict certain web content. I haven't had to do that....yet...

just let him know that woman on those sites are not like woman in real life. He is at an age where sex is on his mind all the time. It is normal, but let him know that that is a fantasy world he is looking at and stress to him the importance of respecting woman always and the difference between love and sex.

Tell him you are taking the computer away unless he stays off them. Get a program that e-mails you with all his sites visited. I would not stop him from viewing girls in swim suits, but full nudity or child porn type stuff is off limits.
