What does the new slang phrase "future sympathy" mean?

Someone said I should be their "future sympathy." What does that mean? Is it a put down?

That would, I guess depend largely on the context in which it was said. Without further details it would only be a guess, but sounds like those two words as an expression may be unique to that person. I have never heard it used before.
