Chances are it will work on Windows XP. Almost anything that runs on Windows 98SE will work on XP, but you may want to check with the manufacturer of the software to see if there's a new updated version, or if there are any compatibility issues.

Technically it should run on your computer. XP and ME are NOT the same thing. XP is more advance (2001) whereas ME is (2000). XP has an option that lets you run a program under "Windows 98" conditions. Go to the program's .exe file and right-click. Then choose Properties. Then go to the Compatibility tab and check the box "Run program in Windows 98 compatability mode" (or something like that). Then it should work.
You can mess around with the other details inside the Properties window (like the colors and resolution) and it usually works for me.
Good luck!

No, ME and XP are different operation systems.
ME is for kids, games and is downward compatible with older version of windows (95 & 98).
XP is more robust and requires a little more hardware to run properly.
GO to www.microsoft.com and run their program that will tell you if your computer can run XP.

There are steps to this on the internet, in spite of if that's lots much less complicated to apply a telephone-assistant or a serviceman except of path you have achieved it earlier. i'm no longer too familiar with the blunders message, so earlier you're taking my advice, I propose you attempt an discover out no count if or no longer a reboot ought to be taken for one among those malfunction. stable luck.

It is NOT the same thing at all. If there is no version that is made for XP, you might still be able to run it, but you might need to turn on compatibility mode for that program.
