Yes Noni juice is good for you! The only side effects I have read about are loose stools if one drinks too much and for some people who drink Noni at night can have a hard time going to sleep because of the extra energy they experience. Noni juice has a significant amount of potassium, equivalent to a similar amount of tomato or orange juice, and may pose problems for people with kidney disease and others who must restrict their potassium intake.

I have found Noni juice to be beneficial as a supplement to my diet and find it shameful that Noni gets a bad rap because of the MLM Company, TAHITIAN NONI INTERNATIONAL who has distributors who make claims they should not.

One of the most recent examples was caught on tape by a hidden camera in southern California by a local CBS TV news team that went under cover to a TAHITIAN NONI INTERNATIONAL multi-level distributor meeting held at the company’s regional office in Costa Mesa, California. In front of a large room filled with distributors, a motivational type speaker referred to the sacred Noni fruit as “…to me it tastes kinda just like money” In another example in the same news broadcast, the CBS undercover producer posing as a lupus patent invited two TAHITIAN NONI distributors to a house in Orange County, California and asked, “should we consult our doctor?” and the TAHITIAN NONI distributor answered, “No…No. Just do it. No. No.”

The fact that this company sells reconstituted Noni puree and tries to tell the world that they are the original Noni juice makes people conclude that only hucksters sell Noni juice. The reality is that the Polynesian people have been drinking it since the time of Christ (2,000 years) and it was their most important medicinal plant. I suppose if Noni did not work, the generation after generation of people would not have continued to use it.

If you want to try Noni juice in your diet, buy pure Noni juice and give it 60 to 90 days to see if it works for you.

Noni Juice

The promotion of Noni juice (ie, the juice of the tropical plant
Morinda citrifolia) is growing as more and more hucksters become
involved in multilevel marketing schemes that sell the product.
According to The Lawrence Review of Natural Products, (Oct. 1997) no information is available on side effects. We note that several studies on mice found that the juice can inhibit the growth of some cancer cells. Although proponents claim that this is accomplished by "enhancing the immune system," they do not specify the aspects of the immune system that are allegedly affected. Frankly, we doubt that this is the case because immune system enhancement is an unlikely mechanism for inhibiting cancer. When a substance inhibits the growth
of cancer cells it is much more likely that it is "cytotoxic"
(poisonous to cells). Just as with chemotherapeutic agents, fast-growing cancer cells are more strongly affected by toxic substances than are normal cells. The cancer cells are poisoned to death while normal cells are mildly poisoned but recover once the therapy is stopped. In the case of Noni, it appears that the substance is biologically active. This means that it may have medicinal value. However, it also means that it can have negative effects such as interfering with other medications.

People who take other medicines should be cautious with Noni. Don't expect your doctor to know if it is safe. There simply is no good information. Consumers who have decided to become guinea pigs should watch carefully for side-effects, and should not allow themselves to be misguided by naturopaths homeopaths, or chiropractors who claim that adverse side effects are "the poisons coming out." In fact, these side-effects are due to poisons going in! Contrary to what the hucksters would like their potential customers to believe, it is not comforting to
learn that an herbal remedy does, in fact, have biological activity. This is because any substance that can alter physiology has the potential for both good and ill, depending upon the nature of the individual, his problems, the dosage, how it is administered, and more. Benign, useless herbal products are less a problem because their benefits are due to the
placebo effect and no harm can be done.

peace and love your way.

They say Noni juice reduces your risk for cancer by keeping your blood pH level from getting too acidic. The stuff tastes nasty, but other than that I haven't noticed any side effects...

Well yes it is good for you if you are "trying" to stay regular and keep a cleaned out system....If you are already regular you can still drink it but you'll find that you may be making more bowel movements than normal and run into excrutiating cramps.
