Juarez is a very dangerous city, its just across the border to El Paso,Texas.its a central point for many people of both nationalities to conduct their criminal activity's.While 25 yeas ago I loved to go there and shop and made many friends in both Juarez and El Paso, now its a city run by the drug cartels and other criminals.Even 25 years ago tho you could see the poverty and despair of the poor that lived there.I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question only offering advice to be careful.

Be careful in Juarez, seriously. It is NOT a playground. Crime is awful there and many go over to El Paso to escape the crime. It is very poor. If you get in trouble with the police in Mexico you are on your own. They will prey on you, especially if you speak no Spanish. Keep cash for bribes(about $50 American), but keep some in your shoe too, just in case. If you get pulled over(they will and can make up a reason), this will keep you out of jail. Do NOT leave Juarez. Being illegal is a felony in Mexico, wait until you have some papers, or they may jail you for up to four years. Mexican prisons are not like American prisons. If you are a lady, do not go out alone. Go in a group, preferably with at least one male in it. Rapes and crimes against women are very common in Juarez. Stay on well lit streets and main areas. Stay cautious and alert at all times. Seriously.
