You said your boyfriend’s mom dirtied your place with tomato seeds. If there is nothing else about her, it is not a serious problem and can be tolerated. This is to avoid any ill feelings between you and her. Your boyfriend will also be spared the difficult position.

Yuck. You could tell her in a nice way like: " Excuse me, but I would like it if you dont spit your tomato seeds on my floor, it makes me upset." Sorry, I wouldnt know exactly what to say.

spitting tomato seeds is crazy enough .. if its a cultural thing tell her that you respect it but if she would please respect your house by not spitting on the floor and like said before hand her a paper towel or a bowl to spit in .

Aside from hiding the shocked and disgusted look on your face, ask her if something is wrong with the tomatoes, then giver her a cloth to clean it up.
I'd have been horrified and asked her what she thought she was doing

What a uncouth woman! I'd say next time she does that, make it point to have your boyfriend clean it up in front of her. Maybe that'll send the right message. Or go with poodle_mam's suggestion which is good too..

I think she does not know how to be polite in public. Tell your boyfriend to talk to her and next time do not give her tomato's.

No more meals @ your house with her thats for sure. Ask boyfriend what exactly was going on , it might be some allergy or something- but on the floor?? honestly????
