I'm just some guy. Most people don't know who I am. There are some who are my friends.

Why would I want to debate anyone on topics of religion and science, with some stranger from yahoo answers?

Why can't I just go home and have instant messenger with my friends, or play trains with my son when he is awake and not watching a cartoon?

Why do people feel the need to debate the yahoo answers religion and spirituality icons?

If you like reading jim darwin's questions cause they are funny and entertaining and make you think, answer them.

If you don't like them, don't answer them.

But just cause you don't like me or my world view, doesn't mean I have an obligation to "debate" you. They sell lives on ebay go get one.

Jim, what's the problem today?
NO, you are not obligated to debate anyone. That is all your choice. And yes, you are indeed an R&S icon. Although your new avatar looks more like a regular than an icon. Even I miss the old avatar.

I love playing trains with my son too. So, there's something we have in common!!

I answer question because in the move of the spirit of God I may receive of the Lord a grdeater meaniong to the word. You see it is not a man that interprets the word of God..it is the Holy Ghost so that being the case I love to hear what the Lord has to say about something someone asks...God bless

I wouldn't consider myself an icon on here, but I did get PM'd by some creationist guy who asked me stuff about evolution. I replied a couple times, but he seems to have shut up now, I think I won! Of course, unlike you Jim, I have nothing better to do with my time.

I like Y!A because I get exposed to a wider variety of opinions and make some new acquaintances (like yourself).

But after about 4pm, I log off and resume by normal non-working life. I think that pretty much the case for most of us regulars.

I don't dwell on the nasty emails and comments I get and I choose who I will "speak" to.

I like you, Jim! : )

I'm here partially for the debates, partially for the amusement.

Mostly I am here because I am trying very hard to avoid vacuuming and washing my floors, which is what I should be doing right now.

Ramen Jim!

I like to answer your questions because they are mostly thought provoking and, at some times, funny.

I do not believe in icons, but if there were any, you would be one here at Y!A. You don't have to do anything you don't want. Don't waste your time if this is not your cup of tea.
