My baby is 9 weeks old and sleeps up to 5 hours between feedings. And when she does wake up evey 3 hours she will only eat 2 oz of milk. Is this normal?

very very normal. That's all babies do. Sleep, sleep, sleep, eat and poop.

Just keep your pediatrician clued in when you take your baby for her next visit. But really, it's such a normal schedule.

You aren't breastfeeding, are you? That was your first big mistake. The next was not reading reading reading before this child was born about what you could expect. It is perfectly normal for a child of this age to sleep and eat the way you describe. The questions you should be asking are about her physical state; does she appear dehydrated (if you don't know the symptoms of dehydration in an infant, find out TODAY, this is the most serious threat to a newborn)?
how long does she stay awake and does she wake up fully? does she seem to be "normal" while awake?
Your local children's hospital probably has a help line which is staffed by nurses 24/7. You should be able to call there with any questions or concerns. Get lots of books and do lots of reading: What's normal for one child may be abnormal in another. You need to learn how to "read" and respond to your little wonder. By the way, as soon as you figure her out, everything will change!
Best of luck, and welcome to the game

Your baby is getting the nutrition and sleep that she needs. This is normal. You need to contact the pediatrician if you feel that something is not right. All babies are different.

Count your blessings! My children both slept 8 full hours at night nearly from the time we brought them home. She'll eat enough.

I have a two month old daughter and you really shouldn't worry about it as long as she is eating well after she wakes up, everything should be fine.
