2- Do you have the means, materials and resources to carry out the research? Will they be easy to acquire?
4- If your are time limited do you think you can complete the project within that time.

If you are clear with all these factors:

State the aim(s) of the research

Clearly design your methodology
Review all the literature concerning your topic
Carry out the research
Write the results and do a discussion on your findings
Recommendations
Conclusion

Obviously, you need to research your topic- IE: cancer. Read the information you gather, then make notes about what you have read. Compile ( organize the information) into a paper, and VOILA!! You have a research paper!!

You will have to narrow your topic down. If your subject is cancer, for example, you might narrow it down to treatment options for cancer or research a particular type of cancer. Then organize it into sections (what causes this type of cancer, how it affects the body, how it is treated) and write about it!!
