I was going to suprise visit my sister who is in college for her birthday. I was online awaiting a response from a friend of hers to see if it was ok if a friend of mine and I came and visited. In the mean time I see my sister had posted some comments about me being a "bum" and basically calling me a loser for being on line for so long... when in reality I was only awaiting a response from her friend. After speaking with our mother about this - she is defending my sister saying that - hey your sister didn't ask you to come to her school did she?? My mom also has defended my sister her whole life which I guess goes into a lot of this which has stirred the pot. The has gotten really blown out of proportion. Maybe I have overreacted.. I just wanted to do something nice for my sister and it just seems like she always so hurtful... maybe I am the wrong one.

I would say leave her alone. You don't deserve the grief. Your mom isn't going to support you, either. So sorry you are having to deal with this. Your sister shouldn't have spoken so harshly about you - either with or without your knowledge - but since she didn't know you would see those remarks, I guess she didn't intend to hurt your feelings. Put the sister incident behind you & learn from it, if you can. Begin making your life for yourself & only see your mom & sister when you have to - they are toxic to you & cause you only grief with their treatment of you. It sux when a parent has a favorite. I wish you well, I wish you strength & happiness. Good Luck.

No, THEY'RE wrong. You love your sister enough to want to try and make her birthday even happier, and she calls you a bum and a loser??? Honey, forget her. Don't beg anybody to like you, not even sis. If she doesn't want to be bothered, if she won't accept you for whatever reason, to hell with her. Think of the people who DO like you and accept you. Don't lap up under sister only to be hurt. As for Mom, taking sides between your children is completly irresponsible and unacceptable. You should set her down and ask why you feel like the outcast. Be honest, and if she doesn't respond to reason, then forget her too. Let her have her precious other daughter. Let me know how it goes.

Be strong, buddy my friend. God Bless.

I think that you was just hurt, any one would be, if I was you, I would call, your sister, and tell her That I was very hurt by your comments, i only wanted to surprise you for your birthday, Don"t go into no argument or any thing like that, just state your point, and say, I love you, and hang up. Send her a nice birthday card, and leave it at that, as for your Mom, don't fuss with her about her daughter. (smile) you know where you stand. You seem more mature then all of them. be strong.

not too sure what you are asking. but you have every right to feel how you feel. your feelings are your feelings and noone can tell you if those are right or wrong. your mother is seeing things the way she wants to see them. maybe if you explain to your sister what was going on then she will apologize. i wish you the best. and i hope you have a great time visiting your sister!

Sounds like you're being a little over sensitive. People can just say things to say something...it doesn't hold any weight. Don't focus so much on how people are treating you or how someone is being treated. Go surprise your sister...so her you care...you only live once.

You need to sit down and talk to your sister about how you feel. Or if you can not do it face to face then email her..I am sure your sister is only trying to look good . I am sure she does not realize that she is hurting you . She most likey thinks it is all fun and games. Good Luck

Try to get a sorry for the name calling...If that happens
you might be able to even this out..
Respect can't happen when you use terms such as "Bum" ect
but look she may not be mature enough to recognises the put down.

Maybe your sister doesn't want you to come. She shouldn't have said those things about you. I would think twice about going.
