Lust is merely wanting someone's body for sex. Love is a strong feeling or need to care for someone (or possibly to be cared for by them) and has nothing to do with sex, though the two are often inextricably intertwined. One of the most compelling ways of expressing love for a partner is through sex.

There is a big difference in love and lust. Love is when you will do any thing for that person you never wont to let them down you always wont them to be there and when they leave time they say they are leaving you miss them and you wont to spend every min in time with them. Lust is when you only wont them now an then and you just need that touch are you just need some lovin.Lust is when you dont wont to see them all the time but you still wont to talk to them when you wont to not every day.

Lust is only a physical attraction and a physical need to be with the person; while love, although may include a physical need, is mainly based off of a emotional connection and an emotional need to be with a specific person.

When I separate the person from who they are, i.e. a body part, that person has an incredible bottom, or they are hot, I am separating the person from who they are to how they appear/look. I am also idealizing who they are based on the objectification of their body, i.e., because that person is hot, I would like to get to know them, or somehow they are appealing emotionally mentally because they are hot. As I am objectifying, lust shows itself in fantasy. What would I like, what would I like to do with and to them. So I would say when the idealized picture of this person is replaced with reality, IE., who they really are. You can accept and be willing to see past faults, issues, problems because Love carries no jealousy, love doesn't judge, love don't do anything for self gratitude, love gives unconditionally, love is trust, love is respect, love is truth!

Lust is a purely physical thing. It's sexual love.It is based on sex. It's purely animal attraction to the opposite sex.But love is deeper than that. It's a feeling of deep respect and admiration. It involves liking the person even for their flaws. It goes beyond the physical. You actually connect with the person on all levels.

Lust is when you want to have sex with someone (and soon)
Love is when you're willing to go you're whole life without the sex, as long as you can spend it with them.
Lust does not include love and is often mistaken for passion, but love includes passion often mistaken for lust.

Good question, I would say that the difference is that you want more then sex with the person, although you can lust after somone you also love, but you want more than sex. You want to share all things with him/her.
