I was told last night that I HAD to break up with my boyfriend and I Don't know what to do because we are really close and he hasnt done anything to hurt and I dont want to hurt him. He's too good of a guy. The only reason why I have to is because of a race issue. That's what makes me soo mad about it

It would be silly if you broke up with him. Look at it this way, it is you who have to live with him if this works out not them. If you gave up this chance for them and they eventually die you would always think of what your relationship with him might have been like.
If your parents truely loves you and cares for your happiness they will not make you pick one and give you an ultimatum. Talk to them and tell them this and see how they react then base your decision putting both sides and yourself into consideration and think long term and short term consequences and your ability to live with the decision your whole life.
I am so sorry about this. Its a horrible place to be I have sorta been there and it was not pretty. Good luck and I really hope it works out for you (whatever you do).

Hon let me tell you something that happen to me. The same thing happen to me my parnets said if i ever dated out side off my race that she would disown me. But our parnets grew up in a different time period than us they grew up were race was the thing you stay with your own color. But we grew up in the time period that the out side dont matter beacsue every body is the same on the inside and that is how i put it. And hon if you are happy with that man you better stay with him beacuse they can not live your life because they have already lived theirs so let you live your. and if you can find a good man hon you better keep him beacuse there are not to many of those out there.
