i could care less when they do it, but dont do it in the common toilet that 20 people have to use, they walk out like " hey no problem.." then the office fills up with their stench!

We will never know. I have trained myself to NEVER crap at work because I don't want to sit where everyone else does. Some guys stink up the toiled as if something died there, and it's disgusting to have to smell that all across the hall.

Are you kidding? A person has to poop when a person has to poop. It's not that person's fault that your company has but one bathroom and it's closely located to offices...and apparently doesn't have decent ventilation.
People don't wait to come to work to poop. I'm sure most people would much prefer to poop in their own bathroom than in some public bathroom. I hate doing that in a public toilet but if it's knocking at the door, it's gotta come out.
Why not get over your poop hang ups, realize that it's a part of a nature that can't be controlled (do you want an award or something for never pooping at work? Here, I clap in your general direction), and buy some Lysol for your office. Or ask your boss to buy some to keep in the bathroom for people to use.
And take a dose of reality. Seriously, this may be one of the most close-minded, ignorant questions I've read here.

For some reason, that is usually when I have to go. I think it's the coffee ~ anyway ~ I'm stuck at work for 8 hours a day and I live 1/2 hour away from work. I can't just run home if I gotta poo during the day.

Hey, when ya gotta go, ya gotta go! It usually takes a little activity to get the body going in the morning, then by the time it's ready to evacuate the refuse, you're already out in public. This was never a problem in Rome, why is it a problem for you? What's wrong with a little healthy REALITY?

You must be talking about men! They are just animals. Most women would wait till they get home and end up with a stomachache be for they would want someone to smell their poo Put a sign up in the office. Bathroom out of order to stinky poos violators will be prosecuted.
