To find the lost sheep of Israel.

Does that mean Jesus came for the Jewish people and to reform their faith? Does that also mean that missionaries without a trace of Jewish blood or ties to Israel should stop preaching?

That's the official line - but seeing as this part of the Bible has not made any sense to you guys carry on - Jesus the Messiah came to reform the Jewish people and his message is good so whatever it takes to instill good in peoples hearts is fine by me.

Final point the Bible has inconsistencies which is the main reason why many people in the west have moved away from Christianity - sort these out and you'll find spiritual progression!

We as Christians are commissioned to "Go ye out into the highways and hedges and compel them to come in". There's no conditions of food and such and the "change of religion" isn't mandatory. The people who go into the mission fields are simply following after God's call in their lives and are trying to share the gospel of Christ with the world.

Well they are not wanted here so they send them abroad and put atrocities on television so they can pull your heart strings and you will send money, these are misguided people wanting to save a world that dose not want to be saved, organizations derived from greed for money and power portraying a false hope for a few children you see on a 27 in television set, we send hundreds of millions of dollars out of this country and we can't even look after our own pretty pathetic if you ask me.

(a few times over) Two part answer to the above question.
Part 1. In the great commission (Matt. 28:19) Jesus told us to go to all the world.
Part 2. We (Christians currently in the United States) need to get it together regarding God's word as we (as a whole) are disobeying Jesus's command to us regarding the purity of his word).

Most religions believe that their God commands them to "go and spread the word", meaning their book of laws, stories, etc. The point of knowing "the truth" is also letting others know. It doesn't mean you force them, but you give them the opportunity to see what you have already seen yourself. Also, in the bible, God asks his followers to be like Jesus. To be good samaritans. To give to those who are in need. To share his word. To give what you have to others as Jesus did himself. Also, God is so merciful w/his children as well as those who don't believe at times, that he wants us to show that same mercy to others.
It's NOT about religion at all. At least, not with the Evangelistic Christians. They don't expect a conversion to go to their church, but more a following of Christ himself. It's to accept that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins so that we may have eternal life. From there, we learn what the bible says about living a life that is commanded by God. It's simple things, such as take care of your body, don't curse, don't commit adultery, respect others, love others, forgive... etc. And the best part is, is that if we don't follow these 24/7, if our hearts are truly repented, we don't loose his mercy or our salvation as long as we ask for forgiveness to God and to those whom we have hurt, if that applies.

If you know American History, then you know what happened to the American Indian because of the Christians. The people who were on this Continent prior to 1492 already knew God but, Christians brought "Jesus" and death, destruction, genocide and took all my ancestors had.

The same reason big tobacco companies send cigarettes to other countries. To make money, no matter how many people are hurt in the process.
