We live in Michigan in Mason County. We were walking in the woods near Sippy Road when Aries ran off. We think that he went to the road and someone picked him up. I put up a lot of signs on Sippy Road, and I placed an ad in the paper with a reward. I also called up animial control. We are really heartbroken and I am posting this hoping that someone might have saw him.

Update. Right after I called the radio station WMOM, a lady heard the anouncement and called her sister. Aries was spotted about 3 or 4 miles south of where he was lost. This is about 5 miles due east of Crystal Valley. We haven't gotten him back yet, but the lady's sister has our phone number.

Today, Sept. 22, a lady called me to tell me that she saw Aries running down the road Wednesday, toward Black lake, which is near Walkerville. We put up posters every day, but still haven't had any news yet.
I want to thank everyone for their support and concern. In a few days, I will have the public vote on the best comment, because all of them are so good.

I'm so sorry about your sweet little pug. I wish I could help you. I live in Texas. But I offer you my moral support. A pet is a family member. And to lose one is indeed heartbreaking. Good luck finding your baby. And please consider using a leash in the future with your dogs. Again, good luck to you.

I am a retired animal control officer of 21 years and this is what "I" would do. Actually, I have had to do this. When my labrador ran off, I didn't call animal control, I went to there every day to "see" if she was there. I also found out where other shelters were, and went there also. 2 weeks later, I found her at a shelter about 20 miles away! Animal control shelters don't just put a dog to sleep
like some people think. They keep the dog for two weeks or more in hopes that the owner will come and get them.
Then if that doesn't happen, they put the dog up for adoption, making sure the dog has current shots ect.
Keep looking, and don't give up. My Labrador "never" ran away again.....she knew she was loved after all of that! Hey good luck.

Most local newspapers will run a lost pet ad in the classified section for free for up to 7 days, but you have already done that...post notices at the vet clinics, and any pet stores in your area. Good luck!!! I would also continue calling the local shelters and humane society to see if he has been turned in yet. You can also go under Pet Finder online and post a Lost Dog ad...i will give you the link...also check your local radio stations, I know where I live they will have a page where you can post lost pets and found pets.
Good luck....check out the link below...it's free to post!!!

When you get him back and I hop you do, put in a chip, so next time this happens you know where to flocate him. Did you call the pound yet, maybe someone dropped your dog off there. Put posts up in the supermarket too. Good Luck!

See if you local post office will let you put one of your fliers there. And also try local supermarkets. Keep calling the animal shelter to see if he is there you might even want to visit and put one of your fliers there also. These places have a lot of people traffic and someone might have picked him up.
Good luck in finding your pug.
We will keep our fingers crossed here in Florida
