insert original CD and boot from it.

After it loads DO NOT DO RECOVERY CONSOLE! Keep going like you are doing an install. It will search fro an existing Windows installation and give you a repair option. Thats the one you want.

If it doesn't see the operating system installed, you have deeper trouble that a repair probably wont take care of.
