In the US, I believe it would be about 5lb of weight loss to go down a dress size, as your clothes sizes are are only an inch difference apart. Basically if you want to lose an inch, it is 5lb, 2 inches is 10lb, etc. HTH : )

It depends where you lose the weight... If you lose it in your butt and hips you'll probably squeeze into a smaller size faster. I had to lose 20 pounds before I dropped a dress size.

10 lbs over size 16, as you get closer to the mini sizes it can take proportionately less. Think of it like a roll of toilet paper, as you get closer to the core, it takes fewer sheet to make the circle.
