Why do a lot of blacks in America have different accent than the whites in America, but blacks in UK have the same accent as the whites in UK?

America is a larger country, there are more regional accents.

I'm pretty sure that blacks and whites in the UK have different accents. There are many, many different dialects of English spoken in the UK. Perhaps you just aren't familiar enough with the UK to realize that.

You are generalizing too much, in fact the accent in US and UK is not so much a matter of race as it is of community, economic level and region are the real issue here, those with certain level of income get access to different media and culture and therefore develop a differentiated language than those with much higher or lower income levels.
I am afraid that margination is one of the drawbacks of our economy.

My guess is it';s a ghetto thing in the USA. I don't think they feel as strongly as that in the UK
