Mostly I have to look back and see all the trouble I've already been through. Then I see that I can get going and go through whatever next is coming. It also helps to talk your problems out. But for me, when I talk out loud & no one is there it can creep some people out if they suddenly come into the room & see that I'm alone. LOL.

I find something positive that I like to do, like go for a drive, walk, play with my cats, call a friend. Or if I am at work I get into my job and just try to forget about the depression. Good luck.

I have the same problem. That's why I'm hiding in the bathroom with my laptop.

Sometimes, I'll write a list of all the things I need to do and then prioritize them in order, then just start slowly doing each one, not stressing myself out. When I need to stop, I stop.

I suffer from clinical depression, and it sounds like you might as well. PLEASE don't listen to the turds on here who have never had depression who tell you you are lazy and just need to pick yourself up or pray to Jesus, etc. They don't know anything.

you need music, good and up-beat music. whatever that is to YOUR ears :D also, while you're listening to the music get up and move. go for a walk or jog if that's what you like. heck, dance in your own living room if that's what it takes. it releases all those great endorphines. literally gives you a little natural high to excercise. try it.

Think about your goals. Keep something to remind you of them. For me, I keep my sales goals printed out right on my bulletin board in front of my face. That way, if I am tempted to spend too much time on Yahoo Answers, I just look at what I need to accomplish to be successful in my job and it helps me focus.

I hope this helps!

Music! I listen to music preferrably Dave Matthews Band. It lifts my spirits like nothing else.

I make lists. Then when I do anything or part of any item on my list, I check it off. This gives me a feeling of completing something.
