I'm just wondering because I've heard some people have payed a lot.my first dog was only $75 dollars and now she 15 years old,my second dog was free but he ran away,my third dog was a gift and she died at age 8,my fourth dog was 50 dollars and now he is 5,but my fifth dog was $1,234 dollars.
so how much was/were yours?

My animals were about $100 each rescued from an animal shelter. I just can't justify spending thousands of dollars for a dog/cat when there are so many animials that are left for strays or because people don't spay/ neuter their pets. Also, if you really want a pure breed animal, you can look up rescue facilities (ie. Greyhound Rescues, etc) to find an animal that needs a home. Not to mention that some breeders that sell their animals for such high prices don't necessarily have the animal's best interests in mind. They are in it for the profits. Be careful!!

50 for an lab she lived to be 11 she had 11 puppies kept one she lived to be 7 nothing for my cats the 1st one was stray kept 2 she died at 2 hit by car when i moved i had an wildcat which mated when the next door cat which that person left her behind when they moved she had 5 kittens the 1st time and 4 the second time then she disappeared about 2 years later the wildcat left i kept all the kittens and had them all spayed and netured at a low cost spaying program which was free and then another dog that my son brought one day she is nine and last year i found this chiuahua running down the middle of the road in traffic he was still a little puppy couldn't find the owner so i kept him so i have 2 cats that are 11 the others are 7 an dog 9 yrs old and lil bit who will be 1 next month

All my cats were free, and I found my big dog ( the mom dog had a litter under the house) and I think I paid over 100 for my Min Pin. Wouldn't have paid but she was in a small cage and was hurt so I rescued her from that awful place.

My Maine coon cat was 75 dollars, another maine coon kitten was free (from a friend's cat's litter), and my black lab was 350 dollars. About 10 years ago, my doberman was 1000 dollars but that was from a champion breeder in PA, now I think they've gone up to 2000 there but well worth it.

my parents own a pet store a dog can go from $50-$2500 it depends on the breed and wether it has papers and if it is ugly or a mutt. like a female english bulldog is 2500.
my parrot was 2500.
a horse can be any amount of money really. my parents paid 5000 for a horse
my mom paid $550 for her persian cat and it is really dumb. sont ever spend more than $30 for a cat.

Now she is a million 12 months old. My to cats have been loose simply by fact they have been the two discovered: Harley replaced into at a farm my boyfriend worked at and he replaced into purely approximately 3 or 4 weeks old. Now he's 3 years old. Stormy replaced into contemporary in a artwork autos engine compartment and he or she replaced into approximately 5 weeks old and now she is approximately 4 months old.

The wiener dog was given away in a yard sale to an old lady and her poodle hated it. The lady called us b/c she heard we were looking for one. (cuz our chow passed away) Then we found our pitbull he almost died someone dumped him off in our front yard. He almost froze to death but, we took him in and now hes like the best dog ever.
I want a mini wiener dog... I found one for $150 but, have yet to get it. Still in the process. I love dogs though.

I paid an adoption fee of $300 for my Rotti. All the money went toward the rescue so it is worth every cent.

my cat was left behind from birth, so I raised him myself.
My first dog was $2000...Of course he was a AKC Champion.He lived to be 8 years old. Had cancer in jaw bone. Second-$900, lived to be 14 years old.3rd,4th & 5th dogs...total of $4000/all 3. They are 10,11, & 12 years old..POMERANIANS...still acting like 3 year olds.
