Hi!
That's a good and sincere question...Hug!
Anyway, to God the death of CHILDREN AND BELIEVERS IS JOY TO HIM...
God knows of how real "HELL" is and would rather have people die and come to heaven than to stand a chance to miss heaven...Children do not miss heaven...Though Satan is the one who usually cause miscarriages, the souls of those children do not belong to him but to God.
One writer whose soul once went to hell and heaven said that "the souls of aborted children are captured by angels to take them to heaven".It is said that in heaven, they are taught how to worship God and they are peaceful there.Well, that is just by the way.You don't have to believe this, but I do and have reasons why I do.
Psalm 116:15 "Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints."
It is also said that there are instances where angels actually happily beg God to take someone's life who did a righteous thing on earth.
We see the death of babies as torture because we have never seen how REAL the life after death(heaven and earth) is...If we saw it, we would want everyone to die earlier before he commits more sins that would cause him to enter hell...
God does not see as we do.
God bless you.Be comforted.
hug!

Sometimes what seems like a mean God is actually a merciful loving God. Some babies would live a miserable life health wise and this was the kinder way. To loose a child at an older age is a hundred times harder. I also believe that babies go to Heavan. The mothers of these babies are a blessing to other mothers in the same postion to help them thru their suffering.

You're right, those babies never did anything wrong. While it seems like God is oblivious, he really is aware of what is going on.
God has a purpose for the earth and for the people living on the earth as well. Fortunately, it also includes many people that have lived before us, including innocent children.
I don't know whether or not you read the bible, but you might be comforted to know that God is waiting for a certain time to right all of the wrongs that have gone on.
It would take so much more time to show you everything in the bible, but for now, check out Revelation chapter 21. It gives a nice description of a time when God will turn his attention to this earth and those who have needlessly died. I always find that comforting.

We should always question things like these and not just accept ' oh God has other plans which we must not inquire' .
The truth is answers for this type of questions can not be answered from the bible point of view, simply because it can't. If you want to know the truth, then keep an open mind about what I am about to tell you.
There is something called karma and reincarnation that applies to each and everyone of us, like it or not.
The baby that dies has it own karma to go through and the woman with the miscarriage has to go through that trauma because thats her karma. Now karmas are our fruits of our actions in this and previous lives, be it good or bad and we will keep reincarnating until we work out all our karmas and eventually merge back into oneness with the Supreme from which we first ever came.
If you want more information about this , email me.

Hi the answer to your question is that their is not an answer for why God does the things that he does. The only way that we will ever know the answer is to ask him when we get to meet him. But I think that the reason that women have miscarriages is because that child may have something wrong with them that would have been worse than living on this earth so God wanted that child.

I've been through a miscarriage. If you're asking this question because you've recently been through one, let me start out by saying I am sincerely sorry and I wish that this answer would help you, but it won't.
If you're just asking to be ornery, trying to exploit the deaths of innocent children and suffering of anguished parents to justify your lack of faith, then I hope this answer will be helpful.
First of all, we need to understand that God wants us to have the free will to choose him or to reject him. To this end, there needs to be something to "test" this faithfulness to God. This test is righteousness. Sin or evil is the absence of righteousness. God lays down commandments for us to follow, and in this example we are going to focus on the commandment not to kill.
Now, who was the first man in the Bible to die? It was righteous Able. Why did he die? He was killed by his evil brother. God had commanded us not to kill each other, and Cain ignored the command. Yet God wanted Cain to have that ability to ignore the command. God also wanted Cain to have the ability to repent and return to following God's commands after he had violated them. If God were to stop people from violating his commands before we had actually committed a sin, but when we were just thinking about it, we would call God a tyrannical dictator.
So, if we stop right there, and don't give any other way for people to die, then the only people who would ever die are the righteous! The evil would align themselves against the righteous and slay them all, because there would not be an immediate destruction of themselves or their souls. So instead, physical death is made into the great equalizer which all men are subject to. Physical death is given such a free reign that it can come upon any person at any time without warning, either as the result of an accident, as a result of evil, or even in the case of a just war or an execution of a murderer, as the result of righteousness. In order for death to be this kind of an equalizer, even the innocent must be subject to it.
But the story doesn't end there, not for the innocent who die, nor for the righteous, nor for the guilty. In the last day, there will be a resurrection of all who had ever lived, and after the resurrection, judgment. Those who had committed evil will in a sense remain dead: they will be committed to everlasting torture. Those who repented of their evil and remained righteous will be given eternal life in an eternal paradise. As for the innocent, I don't want to give the false impression that all who die young will be given into paradise, but God will know what to do with them, and I also find reassurance from the Bible that not all of them will be condemned to eternal torture.

You need to read the bible. When GOD would talk to people and guide them, they still questioned. GOD doesn't let babies die and women have miscarriages. It's called free will. There is GOD and there is Satan. Right now Satan is trying to have a war with GOD. People who truely don't believe in GOD are easily corrupted and therefore do hateful things. "Thou shalt not kill" is one of the ten commandments. It sadens me when people blame GOD for all the troubles on this earth. Look around, man has made this a hateful place. GOD creates life, not destroy it. God flooded the earth once and promiced not to do it again. GOD doesn't lie. You really need to read the bible. There are always going to be people who go against GOD, it says so in the Bible. Good luck with your prayers and GOD bless you.

God has different plans for everyone. Perhaps their was something that was going wrong with that child, and God was mercful and took that baby home with Him. Perhaps that baby might have caused the death of the mother for what ever reason. We dont' have those answers to questions like that. We are just to trust in God, that He knows what He is doing.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

What you're asking for is a theodicy. A theodicy is a 'vindication of God's goodness and justice in the face of the existence of evil.' There is no satisfying answer to your question because there is no theodicy that works, not even the popular "free will" one.
God is supposed to be all powerful and all knowing. This means he could have created a world with absolutely no evil, suffering, pain, or harm whatsoever. Because suffering obviously exists, we can come to one of the following conclusions:
1. God is evil/immoral/doesn't care
2. God doesn't exist
3. God does not have the power to stop evil (which means he's not god, which means god doesn't exist)

I have seen Christians answer this question many times in the past. I guess it's my turn.. This world is a world contaminated by sin. Because of that bad things happen. It's not because the mother was bad nor the infant that was lost. It's because as a race mankind is sinful and the world around us has been ravaged by that sin. God didn't create it to be this way, don't blame Him. look into the heart of man and see the responsible party... Jim
