When the car goes from idle to 1st/2nd gear, the engine is unusually loud and makes a muffled sound. Also last time, when I started my car and stepped on brakes and released them a bit, a cracking sound was coming from the bottome engine. not anymore though.. when about 3rd gear, the car makes a more of a grrr noise and i can hear the car shaking meaning i can hear little annoying noises from the car that shakes.. also, the car makes an unusually high whinning noise when i stop.

i took it to the dealer because this is very weird to me since my car was going smooth (15k miles altima 2006 2.5s).. they told me that there is nothing wrong with the car and that it is an altima enigne sound.. that day it was raining and i could barely hear the noise.. it sometimes does that and sometimes doesn't.. i believe it does that on a more colder days.. i don't know how to make them fix it.. it's definately not normal to me since it suddenly did that after a trip back and forth from Buffalo, NJ.

DON'T TAKE THIS THE WRONG WAY - you can't hear a car shake, you feel it. First, does the car operate OK, fluid levels OK, tire pressure OK, in general except for your problem, is the car OK? In general your question is solly directed at some noises, the location of which is unknown, am I right? Now a question to you. On your trip, did anything hit the bottom of you car? It would seem by your question, its more of a noise that you don't like, than lets say a broken part that can be seen. Yes / No. If the car can't make the noise every time, it's most likely not a mechanical problem. Those type of noises very often increase their sound as time goes on. In general, if you can't point out the noise, and it must happen while the mechanic and you are together. Then don't bother, Most mechanics don't get paid by the hour. They get paid by the job. The factory only pays to fix a problem not the time it takes to find. Unless you are willing to pay for the time, most mechanics won't work on your problem. Sorry for the news,

Look under from the front at the exhaust hanger right behind the engine some time customers drive over and smash it in it should be square. Also open the hood and make sure the hood holder rod has not fallen onto the motor.
