That is the catch all phrase for any other part of an animal.It includes noses, ears, cheeks, tail, genitals, fat, and intestines. It also could be a cow, a pig, a chicken, a turkey, or maybe even some roadkill from the parking lot. That is why you don't want to watch them make sausages if you ever want to eat them.
And don't think that a local farm making sausages leaves out much of their grass-fed animal either. That is what sausages were invented for!

Im not really helping to answer ur question but dont buy sausages unless they have the name in the title of the meat eg Pork sausages cannot be called that unless they contain over 60% meat

Filler, lots of filler. Also a small amount of spices. You need to go to a local farmers market and get grass fed meat products.

Read the ingredient label. A company cannot put unnamed ingredients into its products unless it wants a lawsuit for murdering people because of allergic reactions to its products. Get a clue, people.

shadow... the government allows a certain amount of bugs in ANY processed product. Hot dogs, hamburger, bologna, anything. If it's processed, it's has a government standard that allows a certain amount of bug parts in it. (I try not to think of that, through).
