Any terminal illness means you will die from it. There are many different types of cancer. Saying that it is terminal just means it cannot be recovered from.

It's a big word that signifies that the cancer is more than the doctors can handle at this point in time, people have cells dying in their body all the time, cancer starts when radical cells regenerate and multiply. It's almost always genetic, Unfortunately at this point in time scientists dont know which DNA markers mean you have a predisposition for which cancers. They know some, and these are the ones that are highly treatable because they medicate it by either zapping the cancer, or by finding out why the cell became radical and adding the missing pieces, which reverts it back to normal. All this is a huge process and each cancer is really different so they cant all be treated the same way. Those cancers that are considered Terminal at present are really those that cannot be treated by the means available at this point in time. Very occasionally a Terminal cancer will not result in death, often by error as wierd as that sounds. A doctor may try a medication cocktail and largely not know why but it works.
I dont know if this helps and I cant offer advice on symptoms because they vary so greatly depending on where the cancer is situated and how many types there are.

Terminal cancer is cancer that will cause death.
Caused when cancer cells metastasize at a rate quicker than any treatment can eradicate.
Symptoms? A doctor explains that a cancer is terminal. Otherwise, the doctor(s) begin a variety of different treatment methods in hopes of isolating and eradicating the cancerous cells.
Cured? Once cancer has been labeled "terminal", it has officially reached a point that doctors see no hope for eradication of the cancer, so no, no cure.

Sweety, terminal cancer means that you will die. There are many types of cancer with different stages of cancer. My father just recently died of lung cancer. His cancer came back three times and when first diagnosed he was a stage 2 and this last time he was a stage 4 meaning it had spread outside of the lung. When his cancer came back the second time, his doctor didn't expect him to live out the year and he lived for almost 3 years. So, the docs don't have all the answers. They can only treat it. All 3 times the cancer was found using a CAT scan and/or a PET scan.

Terminal means it's end-stage and you will die from it, so no there is no cure. Causes are all different dependent upon what kind of cancer it is, is it breast, lung, liver, brain? Same with the symptoms - usually all cancers are associated with some sort of fatigue and some level of difficulty breathing - other than that once again it's all dependent upon where the cancer is - it could also depend on whether there is any metastasis (spread) of the cancer.

Terminal means it is fatal. You don't say what type of cancer, so no one can tell you symptoms or what might have caused it. Look up the kind of cancer on the web and get the info about it there.

Like all cancer, I really don't think anyone knows what causes it. I've lost family to cancer, it's not nice. I really hope your not talking about yourself here, not trying to upset you with my opinions. Terminal cancer, it's cancer that there's really no hope for. I don't remember the symptoms of what I've seen, tiredness as being one that I do remember. I lost my Grandmother in 1980 due to cancer and a couple of friends too. Now days though they have a new technoligy for some types of cancer, some kinds they can freeze so it doesn't progress. I don't recomend surgery for cancer! My grandmother, when they operated air got to the cancer and it spread very fast. Once air hits it, it spreads like wildfire. If you suspect you have cancer of anytype, go get diagnosed early. I hope you don't have it and are just asking out of being curious. Good luck.

Terminal means that the doctor believes you will be dying from cancer. The cause is the cancer itself. Symptoms are different depending on the cancer you have. My father passed last December and he had lung and adrenal cancer. First one lung collapsed and the doctors were unable to inflate it. He had extreme pain in his abdomen due to the adrenal cancer. But one thing I know I have heard alot of terminal cancer patients complain of is it feels like your body is on fire. Hope this helps.
