This is not a problem. It indicates there are multiple installations
of the OS on your puter.
There is a file called boot.ini in the root directory of your C: drive.
Before you do anything open this file using Notepad and do a Save as.
Make the new name boot-save.ini
Now, edit the boot.ini file with Notepad and remove all but one of the
lines that begins with multi(0)
Make sure you leave the one that is working!
Reboot your machine.
Have fun but be safe!

That means you have two or more operating systems installed on your computer. You can either uninstall the other operating system(s) or make a partition on your hard drive on which you have only the operating system you want to start and set the computer to boot from that partition.

You'll need to delete the partition that has the other OS on it, or on some computer's, that's not possible, and you would need to format the hard drive & reinstall windows. You would also need to change the boot record

You should do a clean install after you re-format the hard drive.
