an excellent idea. If you date for 3 years and everyone gets all buddy buddy and then you get married with these high expectations and then you get divorsed.

It is better to live together for 3 months and know it is a no go.

It is easier to break up with a boyfriend then a husband.

But if you are all comitted, it will work

if you are talking your kids and his kids NO. you have no right to blend families unless you are truely making one family out of two. That means a commitment in front of family and God, and a promise on both of your parts to treat the others kids AS YOU WOULD YOUR OWN. That means loving them unconditionally. If you cant do that, dont do it, but dont screw up more live just to make you love life easier.
