there are so many people out there who feel like they are so much better than you are; especially so-called christians. They seem to be the best kind of person out there.

I have had a problem with christians and their arrogance, to the point where one told me I was going to hell for my beliefs.

That's how religions work. They have to offer something in order to gain and keep believers. We're very motivated to belong to popular and powerful groups, which confer survival value, and so religions offer that kind of group membership. A religion would not persist if it did not convince its adherents that they were better than others.
Ironic, isn't it? Believers' behavior is itself solid evidence for evolution.
As far as the question of whether or not some people are better than others, I think that some are. I certainly wouldn't say that "I'm better than Christians", as there are certainly some Christians who are better than I am. But I am better than many of them, and in fact better than most of them. And on a more relevant matter, my answers here are better than those of almost all of the Christians here, because I understand the issues far better than they do, and because I'm more honest in my answers than all but a few of them are.
At this point you're thinking "how arrogant!". But not at all - I'm simply pointing out a fact, one that isn't really different from "my responses have fewer spelling errors than most" or "I'm taller than most people" (if said by someone who was taller than most people - not by me, since I'm not). There's no reason why I shouldn't honestly point out that my answers are better than most others, since it's true.

When you come on here and ask a question, you need to be ready for any response you get. It's unrealistic to expect only the answers you crave. Not all Christians are righteous people. I've known some people who sat in the first pew in church one day and went to jail the next. It doesn't matter the religious denomination, all people tend to preach if you ask them to.

i really don't see why you posted that question...
we have enough animosity in this world already...an ordinary question like yours will only become another reason...and you're probably thinking i'm offended because i'm a christian...well i am a christian but not offended...if there are people who feel like they are so much better than you are, it's just a category of people with their lives governed by their ego where everything revolves around them....you don't have to judge them or talk of them negatively by categorizing them by religion....there are so many nasty people you can meet everyday...they can be christians, hindus, muslims..anyone ...
it's really surprising that in a world as intellectual and advanced as today's there are still some people so naive in their thinking

seem to be is the key here. no one can tell you what is best for you because you are an individual with free will to do as you please once you are old enough to make your own rational decisions according to the laws rules and mores of the Culture and Society you belong to.

The Christian's are just, trying to live in the image of God. They are not prefect, but they try to be. They don't want to make anyone feel bad about themselves. They just, want everyone in the world to be happy.

u sure no one make mistakes? i dont feel anyone is perfect than me coz ...no one is perfect...christians or should say everyone make mistakes so no one is the best kind of people .
